Comments : A note to Deborah Bright Pierce. If you email me at joepilcicki@comcast.net I may have some info about Granville Bright from the Norris Hose Co. I would have contacted you by letter but there are quite a few people in Houston with the same name. Your message to the Norristown website does not have your address or Email address.

Comments : I found out and would like to share.Granville A.Bright of Norris Hose Co. No. 1 of 1874 that he was Vice-President. I hope that you will include his name in your archives. His home was on 20 E. Lafayette Street, Norristown, Pa. Please let me know if I can send you a thumbnail photo of him. He later moved to Reading Pa and for his passing of July 1918 he was dressed in a fireman's uniform.

Comments : My great great grandfather Granville A. Bright, worked at the Norris Hose Company No.1 as he lived on 20 East Lafayette Street, Norristown, Pa. He lived there from about 1850 to about 1910 and moved to Reading, Pa. where he passed away July 18, 1918. He was dressed in the fireman's uniform. Do you know who would have a photo of him in archive or a name in any news article. Do you know if there were any newspaper articles servicing in the time frame of I'm guessing from 1870 to about 1910? I may have asked before but was hoping a historian would know. I do like the showing on the site of Norristown celebrating the Bicentinnial. Proud. My family of Reading Pa. would very much like to know also. It would be a surprise.
