Junior Firefighter
16 and 17 years of age
Trained for future firefighting responsibilities, with limited function.
Regulations adopted by the PA Dept. of Labor and Industry, and PA Child Labor Laws. Employment Certificates and parental signatures are required.
Fire Police
18 years of age and older
Fire Police Class required and provided by the Fire Department
Assist fire and police department with traffic and crowd control
Firefighting training and firefighting NOT a part of this classification
Ladies Auxiliary
18 years of age and older
Assist the Fire Company with non-fire events
Not subject to Firefighting training
