Tuesday, December 6, 2011 Mitchell Kijak was sworn in as the newest career firefighter for the Norristown Fire Department. Firefighter Kijak brings a tremendous amount of experience to the job. He has been a volunteer with the department since 2007. He has also served as a volunteer for many years with the Plymouth Fire Company and Conshohocken No. 2, and as a paramedic with Montgomery Hospital. We congratulate Firefighter Kijak and welcome him to the Norristown Fire Department.
