Saturday, September 22, 2012 Fire broke out in an apartment on the third floor of a building in the 600 Blk of Dekalb Street this evening. Crews from Quint 27, which is housed in the same block, were able to quickly extinguish the fire, limiting the damage to the building and bringing the fire under control in minutes. Several neighboring fire companies assisted Norristown at the scene.
