Erik DeLapp
Erik is a firefighter with the Montgomery. He was the first person to join the department after contacting us from the website; and is now State Certified. He was born in Fairfield, Ca. He likes Pizza and the movie Super Troopers. His first major fire was the Town & Country fire.

PA STATE FIREMEN'S CONVENTION PARADE
Date: 9/30/06 The Norristown Fire Department participated in the annual PA State Firemen's Convention Parade with the Fairmount Engine Company No. 2 winning the following awards:
  • 1st Place - Best Appearing and Equipped Marine Unit
  • 1st Place - Best Appearing Ladies Auxiliary in Uniform and Marching
  • 2nd Place - Best Appearing Fire Company in Uniform and Marching with less than 35 marchers.
  • UNIT VALOR AWARDS
    Date: 9/29/06 Firefighters John Gallagher, Dave Soulen and Craig Glass received a Unit Valor Award from the PA State Firemen's Association for the rescue of 19 year old Porshia Glass during a fire that occurred on the 1000 block of Swede Street on October 27, 2006.
