Erik DeLapp
Erik is a firefighter with the Montgomery. He was the first person to
join the department after contacting us from the website; and is now
State Certified. He was born in Fairfield, Ca. He likes Pizza and the
movie Super Troopers. His first major fire was the Town & Country fire.
Norristown Firefighters were dispatched to standby this unusual accident. No one was injuried when the grey Honda collided with two parked vehicle on Willow St. at Brown St. The Honda had just been stolen and the occupant fleed the scene.
BRIDGE JUMPER ON DANENHOWER BRIDGE

At 07:00 am, the Norristown Fire Department responded to the Danenhower Bridge for a distraught subject wanting to jump from the bridge. For two hours as police negotiated with the subject; firefighters and divers entered the water in anticipation of a quick and successful rescue. Mutual aid was requested from numerous neighboring companies. The subject finally surrendered to police, and all fire companies were released.
