Erik DeLapp
Erik is a firefighter with the Montgomery. He was the first person to
join the department after contacting us from the website; and is now
State Certified. He was born in Fairfield, Ca. He likes Pizza and the
movie Super Troopers. His first major fire was the Town & Country fire.
The Norristown Fire Department responded to 416 W. Airy St. after a police officer discovered flames coming from the first floor of a 3-story dwelling. Norristown police evacuated all occupants with only minor injuries. Norristown Firefighters made a quick and agressive attack bringing the fire under control soon after arrival. Firefighters also saved both homes to each side of the original fire building.

The Norristown Fire Department was dispatched to Dekalb and Basin Streets at 6:40am for a female victim trapped in her vehicle following a three vehicle crash. The victim was extricated by the fire department and flown to a trauma unit in Philadelphia.
