Erik DeLapp
Erik is a firefighter with the Montgomery. He was the first person to join the department after contacting us from the website; and is now State Certified. He was born in Fairfield, Ca. He likes Pizza and the movie Super Troopers. His first major fire was the Town & Country fire.

TRASH TRUCK FIRE
Date: 4/15/07 Norristown Fire Department extinguishes a trash truck fire on the grounds of Onyx Waste Company on Lafayette St.
NORRISTOWN FATAL FIRE
Date: 4/14/07 At 2:15am, the Norristown Fire Department was dispatched to 600 E. Main St. for a dwelling fire with entrapment. First-in crews found heavy fire on the first floor. Firefighters made a quick and agressive attack on the fire, holding the fire to the first floor. Unfortunately, firefighters found the deceased occupant of the dwelling in the first floor living area.
NORRISTOWN TRAIN DERAILMENT
Date: 4/12/07 At 4:50am, The Norristown Fire Department was dispatched to Harding and Sterigere Streets for a train crash. Upon arrival, firefighters found two cars, carrying paper products, had derailed across Sterigere Street. All the cars, including a few carrying Acetone, were checked for damage. It was determined that there was no danger to the community.
