Erik DeLapp
Erik is a firefighter with the Montgomery. He was the first person to join the department after contacting us from the website; and is now State Certified. He was born in Fairfield, Ca. He likes Pizza and the movie Super Troopers. His first major fire was the Town & Country fire.

PARTY'S OVER
Date: 9/28/07 Norristown Fire Firefighters were dispatched to a vehicle fire in the 900Blk of E. Main St. When they arrived they found a box truck filled with tables, chairs and tents over a wall and on top of vehicles parked below. There was no fire, however, a worker suffered injuries. Wreckers worked for four hours to clear the scene.
SEARCH FOR MISSING SWIMMER
Date: 9/19/07 Numerous agencies assisted Norristown Fire Department in a search of the Schuylkill River for a person who disappeared while trying to swim across the river. Divers eventually located the victim after a four hours search. Assisting Norristown were West Norriton, Swedesburg, Phoenixville, Telford, North Penn Goodwill and Gladwyne. Covering Norristown for other calls were King of Prussia, Plymouth, Bridgeport and East Norriton.
